Events

We put Norlin Scholars in contact with each other regularly to stimulate thought, conversation and action. Events may be academic, social or cultural.

Some of our favorite events include:

  • Overnight retreat in the mountains
  • Spring Welcome Back bowling
  • Norlin Graduation tea
  • Buffalo Can Challenge

Academically, students:

  • Take classes together
  • Share research
  • Attend workshops
  • Tutor
  • Form study groups

Socially, students have:

  • Hiked together
  • Read and discussed books
  • Adopted families for the holidays
  • Formed a broomball team
  • Competed in the Family Recipe Throwdown Potluck
  • Attended the West Africa Highlife Ensemble
